Τhe Athens Goalkeepers Academy (AGA) has officially landed in Madrid, as part of its 24th international educational tour. The squad, consisting of 11 talented young goalkeepers from Greece and Cyprus, arrived in the Spanish capital on Easter Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
All participants were carefully selected through AGA’s most recent camps held in summer and Christmas 2024, and underwent a comprehensive training program in the months that followed.
During their stay in Madrid until Tuesday, April 29, the goalkeepers will take part in training sessions and talent evaluations conducted by top La Liga clubs, including Atlético Madrid and Rayo Vallecano — long-standing partners of the Academy.
Beyond the pitch, this journey also offers the athletes a chance to immerse themselves in Spanish football culture and the values of international sporting exchange.
The team is accompanied by the Academy’s Head Coach, Mr. Christos Lamprou.
