The Panhellenic Camp for Goalkeepers & GK Coaches of the Athens Goalkeepers Academy returns for the 5th consecutive year, aiming once again to be a national benchmark in goalkeeper education and evaluation. The event, which brings together a large number of goalkeepers and GK coaches from across Greece —as well as from abroad— will take place at Renti Arena from December 27 to 30, 2025, featuring Josemi Rodriguez as the main instructor.
THE COACH WHO BROUGHT GIORGOS PAPPAS TO RAYO VALLECANO
Josemi Rodriguez is the goalkeeper coach of Rayo Vallecano and the person who evaluated Giorgos Pappas during the Athens Goalkeepers Academy’s educational trip to Spain — opening the door for him to join the Madrid club last summer.
At the upcoming 5th Panhellenic Camp for Goalkeepers & GK Coaches, his goal is to share his invaluable expertise with all participating goalkeepers and coaches. Through daily seminars and high-level training sessions, he will train and assess the young goalkeepers, seeking the next… Giorgos Pappas!
Josemi Rodriguez specializes in youth development, having spent many years working in Rayo’s Academy, while he also serves as the goalkeeper coach of the club’s Women’s First Team.
