Under the supervision of its Head, Mr. Christos Lamprou, eight goalkeepers of the Athens Goalkeepers Academy traveled today (January 3rd) to Spain and will stay there until Monday (January 9th).
Three of them come from foreign countries (USA, Canada, UK), an equal number from the Greek Goalkeeping Network (Ilia and Thessaloniki), while AGA trains the others in Athens.
The talented athletes, who have already successfully passed the first stage of the evaluation by the technical staff of Athens Goalkeepers Academy, are in Spain for the 2nd stage (of evaluation) by Spanish clubs.
The first club was today Atletico Madrid! Our athletes were trained and evaluated under the instructions of the GK Coaches of the Spanish giant, which will happen again in the following days.
Those selected by a Spanish club will have the opportunity to participate in the 3rd stage of the evaluation, which includes staying at the club’s training center and participating in its regular training program.
The negotiations with the clubs are a responsibility of the AGA Agency.
