Indeed, for a goalkeeper, mentality is more important than technique. This, of course, does not mean that game preparation is not important. It actually plays a decisive role. However, it is often taken for granted.
A good goalkeeper stands out from the others by being strong and confident, both mentally and spiritually. So that even if a mistake comes – it will come for sure – he can overcome it the very next moment and move forward stronger.
If they call it madness, then yes, goalkeepers are proudly crazy.
